Irony

today was my first day off in 5 days... that's weird because that means that there were 5 baseball games in 5 days. i was really looking forwards going to some 4Th parties and enjoying sleeping in. well i didn't do any of that, i instead decided to watch the hot dog eating contest at 9 this morning (Which is awesome and amazing), and then I ended up not feeling well the rest of the day and just sitting at home by myself as my parents went to a sweet party. I always have mixed emotions about the fourth of July, because I'm not very patriotic and i feel like a hypocrite if i celebrate on the most patriotic day of the year and then go back to be unpatriotic the rest of the year... but i guess it can be justified because i do agree with what was intended by the founding father. anyway i may be making myself sound ignorant and i apologize for that. anyway i celebrated by eating hot dogs and watching fireworks last night, and really just reflecting on our country in general.

on another note. i got a call from Dov today and enjoyed a short conversation with him. he said he was doing well and i really am impressed with how he is coping with the heavy work loads and being away from home. i couldn't do that. actually i guess all my friends are away and handling them selves well.

now i going to relax and watch the incredibles and hope i feel better tomorrow.
