Let's paint our faces with blades of grass and disappear into the landscapes we love the most
Galloping through flowers so tall they resemble trees
Cartwheeling through meadows and playing hide and seek in thickets of redwoods
We'd become invisible in the stone canyons and skipping riverbeds.
A stranger to the tyranny that denies our every desire.
By day we'd be goddesses and gods,
and by night we'd find warmth within each others bodies.
Performing miracles at sunrise,
and howling at even a crescent moon.
Finding it impossible to not smile, we'd invent new emotions to describe our elation.
The sun only embraces those who can look through its glory and into its soul
and for the first time, we feel it's tender caresses.
