Politics Suck

Alright so we all know that i love youth and government, and we know that i am interested in politics... but as of today i am really upset with both these parts of my life. Bill hearing went well we selected Dov's bill to proposes limiting funding of undeclared wars. he worked hard on it and deserved to win. if this were a normal situation this would be the end of it. but not in my life, the board president of the YMCA (who has to approve the bill for us to proceed with it) is strongly opposed to the bill and won't sign it and allow us to fight for it. without his approval we have to day a bill regarding handicaps being issued to obese people, i don't like this bill really. the only reason the board president is opposed to the bill is because he has different political views. it really angers me that his views are able to negate the program and the entire learning of the democratic party. I'm glad to say that i am not the only one that feels this way so we are choosing to fight for this but talking to him face to face and explaining ourselves. the whole thing caused all sorts of controversy in Y and G and was unpleasant for me but it not over just yet. it also got me think that this is relevant in real life politics as well like when a lobbyist doesn't support a bill and that lobbyist has lots of money to with hold from a candidate or person in office if he doesn't vote for it. I don't think that made sense but I'm kinda tired. ya well the point is that I'm done with politics for a couple of hours.
